Drugs don’t work if people can’t afford them. The General Assembly overwhelmingly voted in favor of HB 768 to create a Prescription Drug Affordability Board.
Please contact Governor Hogan and urge him to sign HB768 to create a Prescription Drug Affordability Board. This bill will help us set fair and affordable rates for high cost drugs for state and local governments, and the Board would report to the General Assembly a recommendation as to whether its upper payment setting authority should be extended to all drug purchases. We need this because the high cost of prescription drugs is making it difficult to afford necessary medications.
