Please contact your legislators and urge them to support HB768 sponsored by Delegate Joseline Peña-Melnyk to create a Prescription Drug Affordability Board. This bill will help us set fair and affordable rates for high cost drugs for state and local governments, and the Board would report to the General Assembly a recommendation as to whether its upper payment setting authority should be extended to all drug purchases. We need this because the high cost of prescription drugs is making it difficult to afford necessary medications.
