Maryland Citizens’ Health Initiative To Hold Press Conference To Highlight New Prescription Drug Price Gouging Law

(BALTIMORE, MD.  October 30, 2017) –On Tuesday, October 31 at 11:30 am in the Maryland Hall of Montgomery Station at Riderwood Village, 3120 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh will join Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker, State Senator Brian Feldman (District 15 -Montgomery County) and the Maryland Health Care For All! Coalition to highlight Maryland’s landmark new law prohibiting price gouging by manufacturers of generic and off-patent prescription drugs.  Attendees will urge Marylanders to visit www.healthcareforall.com/hearmystory to share their story of how escalating drug prices have hurt them or their families.  People can tell their stories in English or Spanish.
