FREDERICK KEYS, STATE OFFICIALS, AND HEALTH CARE ADVOCATES ANNOUNCE AD CAMPAIGN TO ENCOURAGE MARYLANDERS TO LEARN ABOUT HEALTH CARE BENEFITS BY CALLING 211

Baltimore, MD (December 3, 2014) – At 11am on Thursday, December 4, the Maryland Health Care for All! Coalition and the Frederick Keys will announce a new radio ad campaign in English and Spanish to encourage people to enroll in health care under the Affordable Care Act. The radio ad will feature Frederick Keys star player Adrian Marin. Also in attendance to kick off the campaign will be Carolyn Quattrocki, Executive Director of the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange. The press conference announcing the ads will be at the Frederick Keys Stadium, 21 Stadium Drive, Frederick MD 21073.

“With help from the Frederick Keys we will make sure people know that they can call 211 to get information about health benefits and significant subsidies available to them,” said Vincent DeMarco, President of the Health Care for All! Coalition. “We are thrilled that the Maryland Health Connection website (marylandhealthconnection.gov) and call center are working very well so that people can get the health care coverage they need.”

“Adrian Marin and all of us, at the Frederick Keys are proud to be working with the Maryland Health Care for All! Coalition to make sure Marylanders know about the health coverage available to them,” said Frederick Keys Broadcasting and Public Relations Manager Geoff Arnold. “We hope as many people as possible who are eligible for benefits get enrolled.”
