Twenty-four members of the Maryland State Senate (a majority) and sixty-seven members of the House of Delegates (almost a majority) have already endorsed the Healthy Maryland Initiative life-saving proposal to increase the state tobacco tax by one dollar per pack to reduce smoking and fund critical health care and public health needs.
