Local Health Coalitions in Maryland will be competing to be designated as “Health Enterprise Zones (HEZ)” so that they can qualify for special tax credits and other benefits to attract providers to their communities and improve health outcomes.
Lt. Governor Anthony Brown is hosting a series of five public forums about the HEZ initiative across the state.
We participated in a great public forum last night at the Long Branch Community Center to discuss local health disparities and the HEZ process.
