Please contact your legislators to support SB 759/HB 768 to create a Prescription Drug Affordability Board and SB 802/ HB 814 to create a Health Insurance Down Payment Plan.
Marylanders suffer when the drugs they need are too expensive. We have a chance to pass a state law that would create a Prescription Drug Affordability Board to set fair and affordable rates for high cost drugs.
Meanwhile, over 400,000 Marylanders have gained health care coverage through the Affordable Care Act. This progress is in danger because of the federal decision not to enforce the individual mandate. The Health Insurance Down Payment Plan will help Maryland protect this progress and help over 130,000 more Marylanders get the coverage they need.
