Thank you so much to Senator Chris Van Hollen and more than 100 of our coalition partners for joining us for a call to discuss the latest on the health care repeal bill.  Yesterday’s vote delay wouldn’t have happened without all of you and your advocacy!

Many people on the call wanted to know what they can do to protect the Affordable Care Act.

Senator Van Hollen noted that it is important for the key Senators to hear from their constituents about their concerns about the bill.  He urged those listening in to contact friends and families in states with Republican senators to urge them to contact their representatives.  He also referenced some phone banks and events that are taking place in Maryland.

  • Rally in Annapolis and Washington DC Saturday July 29th – Sponsored by Protect My Care. Details available when you register on their website.
  • Public meeting in Annapolis Tuesday August 1st at 1:00PM – Health Insurance Coverage Protection Commission that will be making recommendations regarding how to best protect health care coverage for Marylanders.
