Thank you so much to Senator Chris Van Hollen and more than 100 of our coalition partners for joining us for a call to discuss the latest on the health care repeal bill.  Yesterday’s vote delay wouldn’t have happened without all of you and your advocacy!

Many people on the call wanted to know what they can do to protect the Affordable Care Act.

Senator Van Hollen noted that it is important for the key Senators to hear from their constituents about their concerns about the bill.  He urged those listening in to contact friends and families in states with Republican senators to urge them to contact their representatives.  He also referenced some phone banks and events that are taking place in Maryland.

Please give us a call if you are interested in making calls to voters in  key congressional districts and we can put you in touch with advocacy efforts in those states.

Additional events in the state include:

  • Rally in Chestertown Thursday, July 13th – Sponsored by the Kent and Queen Anne’s County chapter of Indivisible. The event starts 7:00 PM at 222 High St Chestertown, MD.
