Marylanders and all Americans are the big winners today as the Supreme Court upholds President Obama’s Affordable Care Act. Millions of Americans have already benefited from the law allowing young people to stay on their parents’ health insurance, helping small businesses afford health care, and helping seniors afford prescription drugs. In a few years, the Affordable Care Act will expand health care coverage to tens of millions of Americans, including hundreds of thousands of Marylanders, and make health care more affordable for all of us. We at the Maryladn Health Care for All! Coalition look forward to working closely with the O’Malley-Brown Administration to build upon the tremendous success we have already made here at home to fully implement this historic life saving measure in our state.
