“I want to make it clear, to anyone listening, that is the No. 1 priority for the Maryland Health Care for All! Coalition,” said Vincent DeMarco, president of the coalition, during a Monday webinar about the announcement.

In Monday’ news release on Monday, DeMarco pointed to polling recently conducted by an Annapolis-based firm for the coalition, which showed strong support for expanding the board’s authority. The results indicated that about 45% of voters statewide say they have trouble affording prescription drugs.”
