On January 16th, the Maryland Health Care for All Coalition will honor Governor Wes Moore with the Courageous Leadership Award at the 38th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award Banquet. Recipients are chosen for their dedication to ensuring Marylanders across the state have access to quality, affordable health care. 

Governor Moore has proven to be a formidable leader, standing up to the Trump administration and ensuring that Maryland continues to serve as a national example in health care. Notable recent accomplishments include protecting critical Medicaid funding while facing a state budget deficit, making the successful Young Adult Health Insurance Subsidies Program permanent, and expanding the authority of our first-in-the-nation Prescription Drug Affordability Board. 

We are honored to work with Governor Moore to continue to improve health care, health equity, and health outcomes in Maryland.
