Do you need help with your health insurance?
The Maryland Insurance Administration has a FREE service available to answer questions about your health coverage. Also, if you have received a denial of medically necessary services, the Maryland Insurance Administration’s 24/7 hotline is available to help you appeal that decision.

Maryland’s Office of the Attorney General’s Health Education and Advocacy Unit offers free mediation services to consumers with a range of issues with their private health insurance and healthcare related billing and equipment disputes.
You can email the HEAU at heau@oag.state.md.us or call their hotline between 10 am to 2 pm Monday through Friday, except holidays at 410-528-1840.
