Hundreds of thousands of Marylanders will be hurt by health care cuts in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, also known as a reconciliation bill, passed by Congress earlier this month, a state group said.

According to Suzanne Schlattman, a Garrett County native and deputy director for Maryland Health Care for All!, the coalition is the state’s largest and most diverse partnership of health care consumers that works to expand access to quality, affordable health care.
