Health care tax credits lower the cost of health care for about 190,000 Marylanders. But if Congress terminates them this year, many Marylanders will lose their coverage and costs could become much higher for many more, including caregivers, small business owners, working families, and 50-64 year olds who don’t yet qualify for Medicare. 

All of Maryland’s Congressional Delegation EXCEPT for Rep. Harris have made it clear that extending the tax credits is one of their top priorities.
